1. Who We Are
MetricVault AI is an AI search and SEO intelligence platform operated from Hollywood, Florida, United States. We are the data controller for all personal information collected through our website and platform.
If you have any questions or requests related to this policy, reach us at:
- Email: hello@metricvaultai.com
- Phone: +1 (305) 563-5051
- Mailing address: MetricVault AI, Hollywood, FL 33020, USA
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in three ways: what you give us directly, what is generated automatically as you use the platform, and what we receive from third-party tools that power parts of our service.
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
When you create an account, start a free trial, or upgrade to a paid plan, we collect:
- Your name and email address
- A password (stored as an encrypted hash, we never see it in plain text)
- Payment information, processed and stored by Stripe. We do not store your card number on our servers.
- Your company name and website URL, if you choose to provide them.
- Any domains or competitor URLs you submit for analysis.
When you contact us for support, sales, or general inquiries, we collect the content of your message and any information you share with us.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
Like most web platforms, we automatically collect certain technical information when you visit or use our dashboard:
- IP address and approximate geographic location (city and country level)
- Browser type, version, and operating system
- Pages visited, features used, and time spent in the platform.
- Referring URLs, meaning how you found us.
- Device type (desktop, mobile, or tablet)
- Session data such as clicks and scroll depth, collected via analytics tools.
This data helps us understand how people use MetricVault AI, improve the product, and diagnose technical issues. We do not use it to build advertising profiles or sell it to data brokers.
2.3 Information from Third-Party Integrations
Our platform uses several third-party providers to power core features. When you run an analysis (a Domain Overview, Backlink Profile, Competitor Battle report, or AI Visibility audit), we query those providers using only the domain or URL you submit. Providers include:
- DataForSEO: organic keyword data, backlink profiles, SERP tracking, and site audit data.
- Uptime Robot: platform status monitoring
- Stripe: subscription billing and payment processing
We do not transmit your personal account details to these providers beyond what is necessary for authentication and billing.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for a limited and specific set of purposes:
- To create and manage your account and deliver the services you signed up for
- To process subscription payments and send billing confirmations.
- To send essential service notifications such as security alerts and account updates
- To send optional marketing emails about new features, tips, and promotions. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To improve our platform based on how users interact with it.
- To investigate and resolve support requests and technical issues.
- To comply with applicable laws and protect our legal rights.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data to train third-party AI models. We do not share your analyzed domains or competitive intelligence data with other MetricVault users.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
