Every error message Metric Vault can show you, quoted exactly, with what caused it and what to do next.

Summary#
This is the complete list of messages Metric Vault shows when something cannot be done, quoted character for character so you can search for the exact text on your screen. Each row names the cause and the fix. Where a message contains a value that changes, that part is written in angle brackets, for example <Plan>. Search this page for the phrase you can see rather than reading it end to end.
Overview#
Messages arrive in four places, and knowing which one you are looking at narrows the cause immediately.

Some messages carry a machine-readable code alongside the text. The code is what support and the API use to identify the exact gate that fired. Codes are listed in Error and status codes and, for API callers, in Error codes .

The panel that appears when recommendations are gated uses its own headings: Recommendations are a paid feature with AI recommendations turn any result into a prioritized, step-by-step action plan. Loading text is not an error. While a tool runs, the result area reads Analyzing… this can take a few seconds for live data., and some tools show their own wording such as Scanning your backlink profile for toxic links….
